Part 3 of this monumental work includes 6 hand-colored plated plates dedicated to Mary Cassatt, Sonia Delaunay, William Hogarth, Pierre Lallier, Berthe Morisot, and FĂ©licien Rops.
The sheet size for The Birds of Acid is approximately the same as Audubon’s original: double elephant folio (96 x 66 cm) is closest to the French Colombier sheet (93 x 62 cm), paper formats differing slightly between France and England / America.
